Wild Woman is a photo and video series by Ashley G. Garner that tells the visual narrative of 11 international folklore and mythological stories that explore the archetype of the Wild Woman. Based off of work presented in Dr. Clarissa Pikola Estes nation-wide best seller, Women Who Run With the Wolves.

Yana helped to develop specific patterns to apply on the body of two models to showcase the complexity of the character from the story, “La Mariposa, Butterfly Woman.” Inspired by the concept of the circle taken from "Circles in the Circle" by Wassily Kandinsky, Yana made it a point of collision for both characters.
