Yanskiss x Charles H. Wright Museum of African History 

Yana was commissioned to paint a personal protesting piece for Juanita Moore, CEO and Founder of Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. The final painted dress was worn by Ms. Moore during Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles as an act of remembrance for those whose lives were cut short by the police violence: Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Kimani Grey, Trayvon Martin, Ramarley Graham, Timothy Stansbury, Kenneth Chamberlain, Marlon Brown, Akai Gurley, Jonathan Ferrell, Amadou Diallo, Keith Scott, Terence Crutcher, Philando Castile. It later was exhibited at Say It Loud: Art, History, Rebellion in Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
